Sustainable management.

We love to value people and nature. That's why we use resources responsibly! We are guided by ecological, economic and social guidelines and regularly review our operations and processes in cooperation with our partners in order to establish sustainable solutions.

  • We treat resources responsibly.
  • We ensure reliable and cooperative partnerships.
  • We encourage individual responsibility and team spirit.
  • We deal fairly with all partners along the value chain.

Our goals and successes.

As part of the Gemüsering Group, we support the central declaration of principles on respect for human rights as well as the central sustainability goals of Gemüsering Stuttgart. To emphasise this commitment, our company was included in the certification of Gemüsering Stuttgart in 2022 in accordance with the ZNU Standard for Sustainable Business Practices.

ZNU certification

We are aware of our responsibility to respect human rights within our own company and along the supply chain. Respect for environmental and human rights in our global value and supply chains has therefore been an integral part of our corporate policy and part of our supplier declaration for many years. Our aim is to continue to promote the observance and application of environmental and human rights and to prevent their violation.

Ecology
In 2022, more than 20% of the electricity required at the site came from self-generation, with plans to increase this to 30% by 2025. Purchased electricity is sourced 100% as green electricity.
Biodiversity
In 2023, 2 of the planned 5ha of flowering areas were established, and humus build-up trials were also carried out on 5ha. In order to increase biodiversity, 80% of the local production farms are to use the QS module FIN Biodiversity by 2027
Economy
For products packaged in-house, the materials used are 100% recyclable. We aim to reduce the amount of plastic packaging by 10% by 2026.
Social affairs
Due to delays in 2021, the monitoring of school projects will be extended until 2025; a new decision will then be made on monitoring beyond 2025.
